well, i went looking for god there — religion, that is — church, rules, etc. or i should say that’s where people started me on the journey to god. seems like god should be…somewhere in all of that, perhaps. maybe pieces of god, but not really relationship, which is what i long(ed) for. got too tired. gave it up. long time looking. was god lost, or was i?
sometimes, from the outside, it may appear as if god has no part of me. can’t say i always “represent” like i hope to. i don’t care so much anymore. i feel found. known. loved. despite…whatever. finally able to breathe. trust. tell my truth. let god take our relationship deeper.
