Flawlessly One

Before tripping over individuality,
God and the first humans
feasted on the blissful simplicity
of being breathlessly, flawlessly one.

Laughter echoed the forest,
for they often confused who was whom;
in the Eden of Innocence
it seldom seemed to matter.
