Time to write. Time for silence. Time to let God speak. Time to know who I am. Time to be grateful. Time to be human.
I have all the time. I not only have the time, I have all the time. All time is mine. All the time anyone else has is mine. I have that time today, time to be present–hours of it. Time to savor, enjoy, live. I possess that time–I own it–I have charge of it. And I will live every moment of it, aware or not.
We have all the time. All time is ours. "Where does the time go?" we ask. It goes the same for all of us. Whenever it's goes, it's not time's fault that it's gone. It goes. It goes as it goes.
Today time will pass, but doesn't have to pass unnoticed. It doesn't have to pass without honor, without respect.
How to honor time? Listen. Look. Attend. Watch. Savor. Touch, Stop–physically stop. Are you walking? Stop–right there–and look and observe and listen. Are you eating? Stop–freeze–observe–feel–note. Are you working at a desk? Stop, as if you just woke up, right then and there, from a long nap. Close your eyes and then open them. If you'd just dropped into this scene for the first time, what would you notice? hear? observe? conclude? Stop–several times today. Stop–interrupt what you're doing to wake up, look around, and "be" for a few moments.
You have the time.
Even if I have a terminal disease and know exactly the time I will die, I still have all the time. None of it is lost to me. I can/will live that time…every second of it, whether consciously or not.
All time is mine.
