We have a favorite CD,
titled Porcelain–
fragile music,
delicate, round and translucent,
soothing, cooling and smooth,
layered with soft color
and subtle flavors,
protective and nurturing.

So many nights
we float to sleep,
wrapped in gentle cadence…
