threatening the status quo,
undermining our security.

critical,
essential to our growth,
preventing stagnation.

You are the prophet
in the country of your own soul,
self calling self
    to courage,
    to pull up stakes and move–
    sight unseen–
    to a new land
    of dark uncertainty.
Heed your call;
heed your warning.
