Wouldn't it be great
    if God could pick you up by your heels
and vigorously shake you
    so all the unpleasant,
        selfish,
        egoic,
        petty,
        unnecessary,
        burdensome crap
with which you've loaded your pockets
    would empty out on the ground
and crawl back to wherever such 
    sticky, debilitating gunk
came from in the first place?

I, for one, would sign up for this.

What would be left
    is the me (and you) God intended.

I could let God know
    you'd like to be next.
